Colby Olson

Hi everyone my name is Colby Olson and welcome to Just Baseball! I have been around the game since I was 4 years old and have never let my obsession go. I played through high school and for the club baseball team at Syracuse in college. In high school, I developed an interest in sabermetrics and biomechanics research. The intricacies of baseball fascinated me and I was lucky to have the opportunity to study Sport Analytics at Syracuse, of which I am the first graduating class. I consider myself the best of both worlds: someone that understands the game played on the field, and the game of numbers behind the scenes.
